Well, for Kunal Shivaji Raut, a local businessman in Pune, that peace was shattered in the most terrifying way imaginable. A mob of eleven bikers, armed and dangerous, descended upon him, turning a simple disagreement into a brutal assault.

The incident, which has understandably left the Kothrud community a bit shaken, unfolded on Monday morning, around 2 AM, right outside Raut's own establishment, 'Good Luck Foods'. Raut, who is 32, was simply going about his business when this unruly group decided to make trouble.

What sparked such an unprovoked, frankly, savage attack? Believe it or not, the root of this terrifying incident appears to be something as mundane as a parking dispute. Raut had, quite reasonably, objected to this unruly gang parking their vehicles on his property. Who knew such a seemingly minor disagreement could ignite such a ferocious blaze of violence?

According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed with the Kothrud police, the situation escalated rapidly and horrifyingly. The bikers didn't just argue; they allegedly attacked Raut with sharp weapons and wooden sticks, leaving him injured. And if that wasn't enough, they then turned their aggression towards his car, damaging it significantly. It's a truly chilling display of unchecked aggression.

Leading the charge, it seems, was Rahul Shivaji Chavan, also known as Rahul Bapu Chavan – a name that, frankly, rings with a certain notoriety in police circles. This wasn't just a random group; the Kothrud police confirmed that Chavan himself has a rather lengthy rap sheet, with prior cases staining his record. He, along with ten other individuals, allegedly decided to take matters into their own hands, and it wasn't pretty.

Thankfully, law enforcement is on the case. The Kothrud police have wasted no time, booking all eleven individuals involved under some serious sections of the Indian Penal Code. We're talking about sections 307 (attempt to murder), 143 (unlawful assembly), 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), along with 506 (criminal intimidation). As of now, the good news is that five of these assailants have already been taken into custody. The investigation is actively ongoing, with police working diligently to apprehend the remaining individuals and bring them to justice.
