President Droupadi Murmu gracefully concluded her impactful two-day visit to Mysuru, Karnataka, leaving an indelible mark on the cultural capital. Her packed itinerary culminated in a truly regal affair: a breakfast hosted at the magnificent Mysore Palace by the titular king, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, and his wife, Trishika Kumari Devi.

Following this dignified engagement, President Murmu proceeded to the revered Chamundi Hills to offer prayers at the ancient Sri Chamundeshwari Temple, seeking blessings at one of Karnataka's most significant pilgrimage sites. Her spiritual journey in Mysuru also included a visit to the Suttur Mutt, where she paid her respects, further connecting with the region's rich spiritual heritage.

Earlier, her visit had commenced with a strong emphasis on wildlife conservation and tribal welfare.

President Murmu inaugurated the Gajamahotsava, an elephant festival, at the picturesque Nagarahole Tiger Reserve (also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park). This event underscored the nation's commitment to protecting its magnificent wildlife. During her time at Nagarahole, she engaged meaningfully with members of the tribal communities, listening to their concerns and celebrating their invaluable role as custodians of nature.
