They claim their daughter had been subjected to relentless mental and physical torment, all stemming from persistent demands for dowry. Imagine the anguish, the pressure, day in and day out.

Naturally, the accused husband has presented his own version of events, stating his wife had been battling depression. However, the police, after careful consideration of the family's accusations and initial findings, have formally registered a case against him. The charges fall under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, which specifically addresses abetment of suicide – a very serious accusation indeed.

Shifting focus to another equally distressing incident, this one from Kandivali, we find a similar story of a life tragically ended and a relationship under intense scrutiny. Here, a 25-year-old woman allegedly consumed poison, leading to her untimely demise. The finger of blame, in this instance, points squarely at her boyfriend.

Her family has lodged a complaint, painting a troubling picture of their daughter's last days. They allege that her boyfriend had been consistently harassing her, not only for money but also, chillingly, for personal photographs. It's a deeply concerning accusation, one that suggests manipulation and undue pressure. Consequently, he too has been booked by the authorities, again under the stringent provisions of IPC Section 306, underscoring the legal system's commitment to holding individuals accountable for contributing to such ultimate acts of desperation.
