Mingus Reedus, the 21-year-old son of “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus and supermodel Helena Christensen, has found himself in legal trouble after being arrested in New York City for alleged assault. "I was at this party, and I was with my girlfriend and these two other girls, and we got separated from my girlfriend, and these girls were following us for two blocks, screaming at us and throwing trash at us," Mingus recounted to the outlet.

He further explained, "We told them to leave us alone, but they kept following, and then they surrounded us and started trying to grab my girlfriend's friends, and then they grabbed my hair and they were pulling my hair."

He asserted that the situation was one of defense, stating, "That's when I just pushed all of them away.

I didn't feel like I was in danger, but I was just trying to get away from the situation. I felt really bad. I didn't mean for it to happen. I was just reacting to what was happening."

The incident has drawn significant media attention due to Mingus's high-profile parentage. His father, Norman Reedus, is widely recognized for his role as Daryl Dixon in the AMC series "The Walking Dead," while his mother, Helena Christensen, is an iconic figure from the world of fashion.

The couple, who were together from 1998 to 2003, welcomed Mingus in 1999.
