Masterpiece on Puri Beach: Sudarsan Pattnaik's Majestic Ganesh Sculpture Symbolizes a Self-Reliant India

Puri, Odisha has once again become the canvas for an extraordinary artistic marvel, courtesy of the globally renowned sand artist, Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik. On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Pattnaik unveiled a breathtaking sand sculpture of Lord Ganesh on the golden sands of Puri beach, not just as a tribute to the revered deity, but as a powerful testament to India’s vision of self-reliance – "Atmanirbhar Bharat."

This monumental creation stands an impressive 15 feet high and stretches a majestic 30 feet wide, captivating onlookers with its intricate details and profound message.

Pattnaik, along with his dedicated team from the Sudarsan Sand Art Institute, meticulously crafted this masterpiece using an astounding 20 tonnes of sand. The sheer scale and precision involved are a testament to his unparalleled skill and dedication, taking approximately 10 hours to bring this vision to life.

Beyond the divine representation of Lord Ganesh, the sculpture prominently features the inspiring slogan "Atmanirbhar Bharat" (Self-Reliant India), a core initiative championed by the nation's leadership.
