Major Drug Bust in Parry Sound: Man and Teen Face Trafficking Charges

Specifically, it was Friday, March 29th, when officers from the West Parry Sound Detachment, working hand-in-hand with the Community Street Crime Unit and the North East Region Emergency Response Team, descended upon a residence on Waubeek Street in Parry Sound. This wasn't a random stop, mind you; the operation was the result of a meticulously planned search warrant, acting on intelligence gathered by law enforcement.

Once inside, the police uncovered a concerning cache of substances. Among the items seized were quantities of suspected cocaine and fentanyl – two highly dangerous drugs that, unfortunately, continue to pose a significant threat to public safety. Beyond the illicit drugs themselves, investigators also located a sum of Canadian currency and various pieces of drug paraphernalia, often tell-tale signs of drug trafficking activities.

Following the search, two individuals were taken into custody.
