Khushiyaan Cares Unveils Integrated 360° Clinic for Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolic Health

Integrated 360° Clinic Launched to Offer Holistic Care

Khushiyaan Cares opened a one‑stop clinic in Kolkata that combines diabetes, obesity and metabolic treatment with dental, fitness and wellness services, aiming for accessible, dignified healthcare.

Khushiyaan Cares pulled the curtains on its brand‑new 360° Metabolic Diabetes & Obesity Clinic in Kolkata, a space designed to bring together a surprising mix of services—clinical treatment, preventive counseling, dental care, tobacco‑cessation support and fitness coaching—under a single roof.

The inauguration was a modest affair in the best possible way, attended by a handful of local leaders, Lions Club members and health professionals. Lion A. P. Singh, Chairperson of the LCIF and IPP, arrived as chief guest, while Lion Sangeeta Jatia served as the keynote speaker. The event also welcomed Mr. Rohit Surana, Chairman of JITO Kolkata Chapter, and Mr. Pradeep Patwa, trustee of Shree Jain Hospital & Research Centre, among other dignitaries.

Hon’ble Minister of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Smt. Agnimitra Paul, addressed the gathering with heartfelt words. She recalled how Khushiyaan’s origins trace back to a simple idea shared during early‑pandemic walks, evolving into a lifeline that feeds families waiting outside local hospitals. “Now you are extending that same compassion into a full‑scale health hub,” she said, emphasizing that quality care should never be a privilege reserved for the few.

Dr. Bijay Patni, the clinic’s doctor‑in‑charge, explained the philosophy behind the “360°” tag. “We treat the person, not just the disease. By weaving together medical, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, we hope to empower patients to manage their metabolic health long after they leave our doors.”

Lion A. P. Singh added that true healthcare shines when compassion is turned into concrete, affordable actions. The clinic, he noted, embodies that belief by offering preventive screenings, counseling and follow‑up—all aimed at the under‑served segments of the community.

Beyond diabetes and obesity, the centre will host women’s health workshops, oral hygiene camps and smoking‑cessation drives. Fitness trainers will be on hand to design personalised exercise plans, while dietitians will help patients adopt sustainable eating habits.

Organisers hope the model will inspire similar integrated facilities across the state, proving that holistic, dignified health care can be both comprehensive and within reach for everyone.
