Hyderabad Airport Bust Unveils Fugitive: Live Ammo Leads to Ajnala Firing Case Accused

Singh had been declared a proclaimed offender in the Ajnala case, meaning he had absconded from justice and was actively sought by law enforcement agencies.

His attempt to travel through Hyderabad airport presented an unexpected opportunity for authorities to finally apprehend him, nearly a year and a half after the incident.

Upon confirmation of his identity and status as a fugitive, the Hyderabad police swiftly coordinated with their counterparts in Punjab.

A team from Punjab Police promptly arrived in Hyderabad, taking Gurdhian Singh into custody to face charges related to the Ajnala firing case.
