Hostel Horrors Unveiled: Kolhapur Rectors Booked for Brutal Assault on Young Students

A shocking incident has sent ripples through the educational community in Kolhapur, where two rectors of a private hostel in Ichalkaranji have been booked by the police following serious allegations of assaulting at least 11 young students. According to police reports, the accused, identified as Sagar Mane and Mahesh More, who serve as rectors at the establishment, allegedly subjected students aged between 10 and 15 years to physical abuse. The rectors have been booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 324, which pertains to voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means, and 34, which deals with acts done by several persons in furtherance of a common intention.
