High-Stakes Encounter: Two Suspects in Firing at Disha Patani's Ancestral Home Killed

A shocking incident unfolded in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, when actress Disha Patani's ancestral home became the scene of a dramatic shooting. The attack, which left her uncle, Dinesh, injured, culminated in a high-stakes police encounter where two of the alleged shooters were killed. Five additional individuals have also been apprehended in connection with the crime, which police attribute to a simmering land dispute.

The tranquility of Bareilly was shattered on Monday, March 17, when two armed assailants launched a brazen attack on the ancestral residence of the renowned Bollywood actress.

Disha Patani's uncle, Dinesh, suffered a bullet wound in the assault. Local authorities swiftly launched an extensive investigation, forming specialized teams to track down the perpetrators.

The police operation reached a critical juncture on Tuesday evening, March 18. Acting on intelligence, law enforcement officers intercepted the two primary suspects, later identified as Vikas and Neeraj, on the Bareilly-Badaun road.

What followed was a tense confrontation that escalated into an encounter. Both suspects sustained injuries during the exchange and were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they tragically succumbed to their wounds.

During the intense encounter, police managed to recover a 0.32 bore pistol, a 0.315 bore pistol, and live cartridges from the deceased suspects, further solidifying their involvement.

Simultaneously, five other individuals implicated in the conspiracy and execution of the attack were arrested. These arrests include Satyendra, Anuj, Rinku, Ravindra, and Deepak, who are now facing charges related to the shooting.

Bareilly's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, confirmed the details of the encounter and the subsequent arrests.

He stated that the motive behind the violent incident appears to be an old land dispute, which turned deadly. The police continue their investigation to uncover all layers of the conspiracy and ensure that all involved parties are brought to justice. The swift action by the police has brought a measure of relief to the community, even as the details of the land dispute continue to emerge.
