When the cast and crew took the stage following their win at the 2024 for best musical or comedy, director Yorgos Lanthimos thanked , who was sitting in the audience. After telling Springsteen that they share the same birthday and saying “he’s been my hero since I grew up,” he said, “thank you everybody who worked on the film, people at Searchlight… the people that produced the film and made it happen.
