Former Outer Manipur MP Lorho S. Pfoze Electrifies Political Landscape, Joins Meghalaya's Ruling NPP

Pfoze, the influential former Member of Parliament for Outer Manipur, has officially joined the ranks of Meghalaya's ruling National People's Party (NPP). During the induction ceremony, which saw the presence of key NPP figures including state president W.R.

Kharlukhi, deputy chief minister Prestone Tynsong, and several ministers and party leaders, Pfoze articulated his vision for joining the regional powerhouse. He emphasized his belief in the NPP's commitment to national integration while fiercely advocating for the unique issues and aspirations of the Northeastern region.

"I have always believed in the ideology of a pan-Northeast political party that can truly represent our voice at the national level," Pfoze stated, highlighting the NPP's role within the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), an alliance he openly supported during his tenure as an NPF MP.
