Escalating Threats: MLA Mamman Khan's Security Bolstered Amidst Alarming Social Media Warnings in Nuh

In a significant development underlining the persistent security challenges faced by public figures, the security detail for Firozpur Jhirka MLA Mamman Khan has been dramatically ramped up in Nuh, Haryana. This urgent measure follows a series of grave threat alerts received by the legislator, primarily through alarming messages circulating on social media platforms, specifically Instagram.

Sources close to the ongoing investigation revealed that the threats are believed to emanate from a notorious gangster group, although the exact identities and affiliations remain under scrutiny.

The intensity of these warnings has prompted a swift and decisive response from law enforcement agencies, determined to ensure the safety of the elected representative.

Previously, MLA Khan was protected by a single Personal Security Officer (PSO). However, in light of these escalating threats, his security has been upgraded to include two PSOs for his personal protection.

Furthermore, an additional PSO has been deployed to secure his home and office premises, providing a round-the-clock shield against potential dangers. Beyond individual protection, the local police have also intensified patrolling efforts in areas frequented by the MLA and his family, creating a robust security perimeter.

The genesis of these recent threats points to insidious messages sent via Instagram, which directly warned the MLA.

Following an official complaint, the Nuh police promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) under pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 506 (criminal intimidation), 507 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy). The investigation is a multi-pronged effort, with the dedicated cyber cell meticulously tracing the digital footprints of the perpetrators, while the Nuh police force focuses on ground-level intelligence and apprehension.

This is not the first instance of threats targeting MLA Mamman Khan.

He had previously been on the receiving end of similar intimidation tactics, highlighting a pattern of ongoing danger.
