Chhattisgarh CM Rushes to Bastar's Flood-Hit Regions, Pledges Rapid Relief & Rehabilitation

In a swift and compassionate response to the devastating floods sweeping across parts of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai personally visited the heavily impacted Bastar division, underscoring his government's commitment to supporting affected communities. The Chief Minister conducted an on-ground assessment of the calamity in Narayanpur district, a region severely battered by incessant rainfall and the wrath of overflowing rivers.

The flood situation, exacerbated by heavy monsoon downpours, has led to a critical rise in water levels in rivers like the Indravati, inundating numerous villages and displacing hundreds of families from their homes.

CM Sai meticulously reviewed the extent of the damage, engaging directly with local residents and officials to grasp the full scope of the crisis.

During his visit, Chief Minister Sai issued explicit directives to district officials to expedite relief and rehabilitation efforts without any delay.
