Instead, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has decided on a partial closure. What does that actually mean for your holiday plans or business trips, though? Essentially, flights will be operating, but only during specific daytime hours. We're looking at a window from 8 am to 4:30 pm, give or take. So, if your usual flight is an early bird or a night owl, you could say it’s probably getting reshuffled, or perhaps even cancelled.

This shift in operations is expected to impact quite a few daily services – roughly 16 flights, by some counts. Airlines like IndiGo, Vistara, Air India, SpiceJet, Akasa Air, Alliance Air, and even flybig will undoubtedly be adjusting their schedules. It’s a ripple effect, isn't it?
