Boston's Forecast: Enjoy the Sunshine, But Brace for Late-Week Storms

Well, if you've been soaking up these gorgeous rays, you're in for a treat as we kick off the week! WCVB Meteorologist Kelly Ann Cicalese has the scoop, and it sounds like a lovely start for us here in the Boston area.

Monday, for instance, is shaping up to be mostly sunny – perfect for getting out and about. We’re even looking at temperatures a little warmer than what we'd typically expect for this time of year, which is always a nice bonus, isn't it?

That pleasant, mostly sunny trend seems to hold steady through Wednesday too, with dry conditions prevailing. So, those mid-week plans won't be dampened by any unexpected showers, which is always a relief!

But, you know how New England weather can be, always keeping us on our toes! Things start to shift a bit as we head into the latter half of the week. By Thursday afternoon, it looks like we’ll see the return of some rain. And not just a light sprinkle; there’s a real possibility of storms rolling through, bringing with them a noticeable uptick in humidity. You’ll definitely feel that stickiness in the air.

Friday also carries a chance of showers and thunderstorms, so it's probably a good idea to keep that umbrella handy and maybe check in with the latest forecast before making any firm outdoor plans.
