The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to telecast the grand consecration on January 22, 2024, live to all parts of India on large screens set up at the booth levels, to allow the public to view the Shri Ram Consecration ritual. Party sources suggest that this move allows widespread participation in the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Lala. The report indicates that BJP workers have also been encouraged to take part in social service activities such as distributing blankets, organizing communal feasts, and donating food or fruit to those in need.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to grace the Ram Temple consecration proceedings, raising much attention from VIP guests from India and overseas. A schedule of Vedic rituals commencing January 16 will precede Ram Lalla's grand consecration ceremony, which will be held on January 22 officiated by priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit.
The city of Ayodhya will serve as the venue for the Amrit Mahotsav from January 14 to 22, and will be prepared to welcome the multitude of devotees expected, with necessities for 10,000-15,000 people to be arranged by the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust.
Security and logistical elements for the event are being meticulously planned by local authorities to provide everyone a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience, the report further stated. The installation of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple has been set for midday on January 22 by the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust.
Considering intense devotion of Lord Ram’s devotees to attend the inauguration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discouraged mass gatherings due to security and logistical issues, only allowing a select few at the grand ceremony. He will be attending Ram Lalla's idol installation at the temple on January 22 and advised devotees to plan their visit to Ayodhya after the ceremony.
Arrangements for the grand opening of the Ram Temple are in full swing, with an array of dignitaries and individuals from different sectors forecast to be in attendance, concluded the report.
