Aviation Leadership Shift: Harry Barrett Jr. Transitions from PSP to SMF

Harry Barrett Jr., the airport's dynamic Executive Director, is packing his bags and heading north to take on a brand-new challenge as the Airport Director for Sacramento International Airport (SMF). It's a significant move, certainly, marking a new chapter for both Barrett and these crucial California hubs.

You know, Barrett's time at PSP has been nothing short of transformative. He stepped into the role back in 2021, right in the thick of things as the world was gingerly emerging from the grips of the COVID-19 pandemic. Talk about a challenging entry! His last day at PSP will be August 2nd, and he’ll dive right into his new responsibilities in Sacramento just a few days later, on August 5th. No time to waste!
