Artists Equity Welcomes Industry Veteran Amy Baer as President of Film & Television

Artists Equity, the innovative studio co-founded by Hollywood luminaries Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, has announced a significant bolstering of its leadership team, naming seasoned producer and executive Amy Baer as its President of Film and Television. Baer, a highly respected figure in the entertainment industry, will now spearhead all facets of film and television development and production for Artists Equity.

Her impressive career also includes a tenure as President of Production at CBS Films and Executive Vice President of Production at Sony Pictures. During her time at Sony, she played a crucial role in the development and production of numerous hit films, including “Moneyball,” “Flight,” “Crazy Heart,” and the beloved romantic comedy “My Best Friend’s Wedding.” Notably, Baer's professional path has intersected with Affleck's before, as she worked on films like “The Sum of All Fears” and “Gigli” during his earlier acting career at Sony.
