Finally, after much anticipation, and frankly, a good deal of planning, the heart of Andhra Pradesh's burgeoning capital, Amaravati, has begun to truly beat. Indeed, top officials, those at the very helm of urban development, have now officially—and physically—set up shop in the shiny new CRDA headquarters.

It’s more than just a change of address, you know; it’s a tangible symbol of progress, a clear signal that the wheels are, at long last, turning with real momentum.

Leading this pivotal shift are key figures, including the Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, alongside the CRDA Commissioner himself.

And this isn't just a spontaneous move, not by any stretch. It directly follows the firm directives laid down by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who, honestly, has been pushing hard to accelerate the entire capital construction process. His vision, one might argue, is finally taking solid form.

Now, about this new hub: it’s situated right there in the capital region, a sort of nerve center for all things development.

This isn't, in truth, a grand, permanent edifice just yet. Rather, it’s a smart, pre-fabricated structure, built to be incredibly functional and, well, quick to assemble. It's designed to comfortably house around 300 employees and is expected to serve as the main operational base for the next three years or so—a vital bridge, you could say, until the grander, more permanent structures are ready to welcome them.

But the CRDA isn't alone in this migration; other government departments, too, are poised for their own big move.

They’re slated to transition to temporary secretariat buildings in Velagapudi, starting just a few days from now, on June 27. All of this, taken together, paints a clear picture: Amaravati, once primarily a blueprint and a promise, is steadily transforming into a living, breathing administrative entity.

It’s a bold undertaking, a genuine effort to bring the future of Andhra Pradesh to life, one office, one department, one vital decision at a time. And frankly, it's quite something to witness.
