Thunder Bay Police Act Swiftly After Brutal Early Morning Assault

It was still dark, barely dawn on a Friday morning – January 12th, to be precise – when the peace in a Thunder Bay neighborhood was abruptly shattered. Police officers, responding to an urgent call, found themselves converging on a residential address nestled in the 200 block of Van Norman Street, called to investigate what was reported as a severe assault.

The situation upon their arrival was, unfortunately, grave. One individual had sustained truly serious injuries, injuries serious enough that paramedics were immediately on hand, acting quickly to transport them to the local hospital for urgent care.
