Sunflower season 2 announced, Sunil Grover, Mukul Chaddha to reprise their roles

The crime comedy series Sunflower, starring Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chaddha, and Girish Kulkarni, created by Vikas Bahl and directed by Navin Gujral, is set for a second season. The sequel will be premiered exclusively on ZEE5 and will continue the storyline from the first season, involving the characters from a middle-class housing society in Mumbai. For those who haven’t watched the first season yet, ZEE5 is offering it for free from January 1st to 31st.
In the forthcoming season, the stellar cast will be reprising their roles with Sunil Grover as Sonu Singh, Mukul Chaddha as Mr. Ahuja, Ashish Vidyarthi as Dilip Iyer, and Girish Kulkarni as Inspector Tambe. The viewers can expect engrossing suspense as the search for Mr. Kapoor’s killer continues. This includes an increased number of suspects and Sonu, once again becoming viewers’ favourite murder suspect.

The showrunner, Vikas Bahl, speaking about the highly anticipated season 2, said that Sunil Grover's character, Sonu Singh, has been praised by audiences contributing to a significant fan base. The aim with the second season is intensifying the suspense and making the characters even more captivating, promising the viewers a mix of emotions, laughter and surprising twists.
