Registered Sex Offender Arrested in Kingston on Horrific New Charges

Kingston, NH – Authorities in Kingston have announced the arrest of a registered sex offender, Andrew S. Marcou, on profoundly serious new charges including aggravated felonious sexual assault and the possession of child sexual abuse images (CSAI). The apprehension of Marcou, 46, on June 19, 2024, marks a significant development following a collaborative investigation by local and state law enforcement.

The investigation, which commenced in late May, saw the Kingston Police Department working in close conjunction with the New Hampshire State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

This joint effort culminated in the issuance of an arrest warrant for Marcou, who was taken into custody at a residence on Primrose Lane without incident.

Marcou's criminal history includes a prior conviction in 2018 for sexual assault of a child in Massachusetts, which led to his registration as a sex offender.
