New 360 Behavioral Health Autism Center Opens in Visalia

Visalia, Calif. – On a sunny Thursday afternoon, the doors opened at the newest 360 Behavioral Health clinic, bringing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy right into the heart of the Central Valley. For many parents, the news feels like a breath of fresh air after months of long drives to Fresno or other distant locations.

“Our goal is simple,” says Maria Robles, director of clinical services for 360 Behavioral Health. “We want to help kids develop core skills—communication, self‑care, social interaction—through play‑based, naturalistic teaching.” The center caters to both early learners and school‑age children who have been diagnosed with autism.

Robles notes that the decision to open a Visalia site came after hearing countless stories from families struggling to find nearby services. “Parents were either traveling hours away or postponing therapy altogether because there simply weren’t options close to home,” she explains. The new location means a child can receive treatment in a clinic setting or, if it works better for the family, a therapist can head to the child’s own home.

The space itself is designed to feel inviting: bright colors, shelves of toys, and learning materials that encourage spontaneous play. “We focus on naturalistic teaching, so sessions feel fun, not forced,” Robles adds. This approach helps children practice real‑world skills while they’re engaged in activities they enjoy.

To celebrate the opening, 360 Behavioral Health has scheduled a ribbon‑cutting ceremony on August 15, inviting community members, local officials, and families to tour the facility and meet the staff. The event underscores the organization’s commitment to making autism services more reachable for everyone in the Visalia area.
