The agency has proudly announced KBR Wyle Services, LLC, based in Houston, as the recipient of the Spaceflight Operations Systems Organization (SOSO) contract.

This substantial award is set to provide a full spectrum of crucial services for NASA's human spaceflight endeavors, including ground-based training systems and vital operational support.

Valued at a maximum potential of $1.93 billion, the cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract signifies a long-term commitment.

It features a base period of one year, followed by an impressive seven one-year options, extending the contract's reach for up to eight years. This expansive timeline underscores NASA's strategic vision for sustained human presence and exploration beyond Earth.

Under the terms of the SOSO contract, KBR Wyle Services will play an integral role in a multitude of critical areas across several key NASA centers, including Johnson Space Center in Houston, Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama.

Their responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of flight operations, from development to execution, supporting iconic programs such as the International Space Station (ISS), the Orion spacecraft, the Lunar Gateway, Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS), and the groundbreaking Artemis missions aimed at returning humans to the Moon.
