KL University Students Soar to New Heights with Groundbreaking Satellite Launches from Campus

In a monumental stride for Indian private education and scientific innovation, students at KL University in Andhra Pradesh have achieved a remarkable feat: successfully launching student-built satellites directly from their campus. The historic event saw two distinct, student-developed satellites take flight.

The first is KL-SAT, a sophisticated satellite engineered to eventually orbit Earth, meticulously gathering invaluable data for researchers across various scientific disciplines. Alongside it, a high-altitude balloon satellite was also launched, designed to conduct crucial atmospheric studies and collect data from the upper reaches of the Earth’s atmosphere.

The launch was graced by Dr. GS Murthy, Vice-Chancellor of KL University, along with Rector Dr.
