Karnataka's Science Stars Shine: KSTA Celebrates Innovation and Vision

Just recently, the Karnataka Science and Technology Academy (KSTA) truly outdid itself, hosting its 16th annual conference and a magnificent awards ceremony right there in Mysuru. It was quite a spectacle, you know, a real moment to shine a spotlight on the incredible scientific minds shaping our state's future and driving innovation forward. The air was buzzing with excitement, a palpable sense of recognition for the hard work and dedication poured into scientific endeavors.

The event, held at the venerable Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), saw none other than Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai himself grace the occasion. He wasn't just there to observe; he officially inaugurated the proceedings and, more importantly, had the distinct honor of personally presenting these prestigious awards. Awards for the 'best college for encouraging science' and the 'best project of Science Models for Rural Students' really underscore KSTA's commitment to widespread scientific literacy and making science accessible and exciting for everyone, regardless of their background or location. Throughout the day, attendees heard inspiring words from a host of dignitaries, including Higher Education Minister Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan, KSTA Chairman Dr. S A Patil, CEO Dr. V R Ravi, and KSOU Vice Chancellor Dr. Sharanappa V.
