NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Alvin Kamara, running back for the Saints, has been confirmed as unavailable for the regular season finale this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons will also be without quarterback Taylor Heinicke due to an ankle injury suffered last week, despite uncertain signs after limited training this week. Kamara also injured his ankle last week and had been listed as doubtful for the game after missing practice this week. Despite Kamara’s absence, the Saints welcome the return of rookie running back Kendre Miller who had missed the last seven games due to an ankle injury. Kamara has previously delivered 694 rushing yards and five touchdowns, along with 75 catches for 466 yards and one touchdown across 13 games this season. He was absent for the first three games of the season due to suspension. Miller, a third-round draftee from TCU, has garnered 83 rushing yards on 28 runs and nine catches for 33 yards this season. Jamaal Williams, an experienced running back, is also included in the Saints line up. Atlanta player Zach Harrison, a defensive lineman who was restricted in practice this week due to a knee injury, has also been ruled out.
