Horror Unveiled: Rajasthan Man's Body Stuffed in Drum, Family Vanishes

A chilling discovery has sent shockwaves through Rajasthan, as the lifeless body of a 45-year-old man, identified as a local patwari, was found tragically stuffed inside a drum on the rooftop of his own home. The grim revelation has plunged authorities into a frantic search for his missing wife and three children, who are now the primary focus of a baffling and macabre investigation.

The deceased, Ramswaroop Meena, a revenue official by profession, had been reported missing by his distraught brother, Shivram.

Days of unanswered calls and growing concern prompted Shivram to visit Meena’s residence in Dausa district, only to find the house eerily locked from the outside. A deepening sense of dread set in when neighbours reported a foul, unmistakable odour emanating from the property.

Responding swiftly to the alarming report, local police arrived on the scene and were compelled to break open the locked doors.

A meticulous search of the premises eventually led them to the rooftop, where the unspeakable horror awaited. Concealed beneath a pile of wood and other debris was a large drum, within which Meena's body had been callously hidden.

The immediate and perplexing disappearance of Meena's wife and their two daughters and one son has cast a dark shadow of suspicion over the family.

Investigators are now pursuing all leads, operating under the strong belief that the missing family members may hold crucial information regarding the patwari’s tragic end, or even be directly involved.

An First Information Report (FIR) has been promptly registered under Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

Multiple police teams have been swiftly assembled and dispatched, fanning out across the region in a desperate effort to trace the missing family and unravel the full truth behind this horrifying incident that has gripped Rajasthan.
