Groton City Brew Fun Run Returns to Eastern Point Beach

Mark your calendars, because the Groton City Brew Fun Run is rolling back onto Eastern Point Beach this Saturday, September 12. It’s that time of year again when runners, walkers, families and craft‑beverage fans converge for a day that feels part race, part festival.

The centerpiece is a breezy 5‑kilometer route that snakes along the shoreline, giving participants a chance to soak up sea breezes while clocking their personal bests. If you’re bringing the kids, there’s a dedicated kids’ run too – short, sweet, and perfect for tiny feet who want to feel the excitement of a race.

And because no good run is complete without a celebration afterward, organizers have set up a post‑race Brew Garden. Think local brews, cold sodas, and a laid‑back spot to cool down, chat, and maybe snap a selfie with a beach backdrop.
