Former BC Goaltender Coach Randy Uens Faces Historical Sex Offence Charges

A cloud of serious allegations has descended upon the BC hockey community as Randy Uens, a prominent goaltender coach with a long history in various leagues, has been charged with historical sex offences. The charges, laid on June 12, 2024, by the Coquitlam RCMP, stem from incidents alleged to have occurred between 1984 and 1987 in Coquitlam, British Columbia.

Uens faces two counts of gross indecency and two counts of sexual assault.
