Setting the record straight, the revered Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband has issued a clear and unequivocal statement, quashing rumors and reports of restrictions on women journalists covering the recent high-profile visit of Afghanistan's acting Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi. The seminary firmly stated that all media personnel, without exception, were granted full and unfettered access to the event.

Concerns had emerged following certain media narratives suggesting that female journalists might have faced limitations or even been asked to leave during the dignitary's presence.

However, Darul Uloom Deoband's media in-charge, Ashar Usmani, moved swiftly to dispel these notions, emphasizing that no such directive was ever issued by the seminary's administration. "Neither was any such order issued from our side, nor was any female journalist asked to leave," Usmani confirmed, underscoring the baselessness of the claims.
