Arjun Kapoor wraps shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘O Saathi Re’ alongside Aditi Rao Hydari

Arjun Kapoor posted a series of breezy Instagram pictures on Friday, confirming that the shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming Netflix series O Saathi Re has finally come to an end. He called the venture “very special” and thanked the director, who also happens to be an old college buddy, for the experience.

The Netflix drama also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Avinash Tiwary. In the photo carousel, Kapoor can be seen sharing a candid lunch with Aditi and Imtiaz, followed by a short video clip of the trio laughing over a plate of biryani. Aditi’s comment under the post read, “Arjuuuuuuuuuuuun, thank you for being so effortlessly amaaaaazing… always cheering for you… biggest luck for your new adventure,” to which Arjun replied, “@aditiraohydari you were amazing and that lunch was spectacular.”

Imtiaz Ali, in a press note, described the series as a “modern story with a vintage heart, an enchanted fairy‑tale set against the chaos of metropolitan life.” He added that working with a “stellar cast of Avinash, Aditi and Arjun” and the continued partnership with Netflix made the project feel “deceptively charming.”

With the wrap‑up behind him, Kapoor is already gearing up for his next assignment. Late Friday night he visited his friend and hairstylist Aalim Hakim, who gave him a sharp new haircut. Arjun posted another Instagram snap, captioning it, “New look for a new film, announcing soon. Thank you my brother @aalimhakim for taking time out for me so late at night to set the look. Love you.” Rumour mills suggest the fresh style could be for Hansal Mehta’s forthcoming film Billionaire, though nothing has been officially confirmed.

Fans can look forward to the Netflix release of O Saathi Re later this year, and they’ll likely be keeping a close eye on Arjun’s next move, especially after the buzz surrounding his new haircut.
