A Tangle of Greed: How Two ITDC Managers Fell into CBI's Bribery Net in Delhi

A Senior Manager, A.K. Singh, and an Assistant Manager, Piyush Tiwari, both stationed right there in Delhi, found themselves suddenly on the wrong side of the law, accused, mind you, of a rather serious bribery charge.

You see, the allegations are quite specific: these officials were reportedly demanding, and indeed accepting, a hefty sum – Rs. 50,000 to be exact – as a bribe. And for what, you ask? Singh, the Senior Manager, was reportedly nabbed right in the act, accepting the illicit payment.

It wasn't just Singh, though. Piyush Tiwari, the Assistant Manager, was also implicated, his involvement seemingly pivotal to the whole scheme. Following the arrests, investigators didn't waste a moment, conducting thorough searches. Their targets? The official and residential premises of both accused.
