360 Behavioral Health Opens New Autism Care Center in Visalia

Visalia got a little brighter on Tuesday when 360 Behavioral Health threw open the doors of its brand‑new autism care center. The facility, tucked in the heart of the Central Valley, focuses on Applied Behavior Analysis—commonly known as ABA—therapy for early learners and school‑age kids on the autism spectrum.

Maria Robles, the director of clinical services for 360 Behavioral Health, explained that the program is built around teaching the basics many parents worry about: communication, self‑care, and social interaction. “Those skills are really essential for our early learners,” she said, adding a smile that hinted at how much the team wants to see kids succeed.

It turns out the need for a local center is more than just a nice‑to‑have. Parents in the Visalia area have long spoken up about the headaches of having to drive to Fresno or, worse, put therapy on hold because the nearest provider was too far away. “We heard families say they were juggling work, school runs, and a two‑hour commute just to get the right support,” Robles recalled.

Now, with the Visalia clinic in place, families can choose to come in for sessions or, if that works better, have therapists come to their homes. The flexibility, Robles noted, is a huge relief for households trying to balance a lot of moving parts.

To celebrate the opening, 360 Behavioral Health is planning a grand‑opening ribbon‑cutting ceremony on August 15. The event will give the community a chance to tour the space, meet the staff, and learn more about how ABA can fit into a child’s daily routine.
