Shreyas Iyer dropped from T20Is vs Afghanistan: Are India back to square one?

Shreyas Iyer was dropped from India's T20I squad for the three match series against Afghanistan. The decision comes as a surprise, especially considering that Iyer was appointed vice captain for the last two T20Is against Australia in November and December.
