Saif Ali Khan Unveils Dapper Look in ‘Haiwaan’ and Calls It His Best Role Yet

When the promotional video for the upcoming thriller Haiwaan dropped, fans instantly noticed Saif Ali Khan’s impeccably sharp ensemble. The actor, sporting a tailored suit that seemed straight out of a runway, swayed alongside Akshay Kumar, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar to the peppy track “Main Toh Nahi Haiwaan”.

Later, Saif posted a behind‑the‑scenes clip on his official Instagram handle @saifalikhanpataudiworld. In the short, he’s fielded a few off‑beat questions while lounging in the very outfit that sparked a wave of compliments. “Komal Shahani designed this, and I have to say, it’s a bit of a wild experiment for the character,” he laughed, adding that he felt “exposed” in the most fun way possible.

He also joked about the visual contrast between his and Akshay’s looks. “I’m supposed to be the lighter, more pure side, while he’s the darkness,” Saif quipped, hinting at the yin‑yang dynamic the two actors will bring to the screen.

Beyond the fashion talk, Saif couldn’t hide his excitement for the role itself. In a candid interview he called the part “probably the best character I’ve ever played”. He praised director‑writer Priyadarshan, calling the collaboration “a blessing” and describing the role as “author‑backed”, suggesting a depth that goes beyond the usual Bollywood fare.

Haiwaan is a Hindi remake of Priyadarshan’s own 2016 Malayalam hit Oppam. The crime‑thriller assembles a star‑studded cast: Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher, with a special cameo by Mohanlal. It also marks the final on‑screen appearance of the beloved veteran actor Asrani, who passed away in October 2025.

The film is slated to hit theatres on 11 September, and fans are already buzzing, thanks in part to Saif’s stylish avatar and his enthusiastic endorsement of the project.
