The nominees for the 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Wednesday morning and it was a good day for one of the announcers. Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani made the announcements via Instagram Live on and and as Nanjiani noted two of the films Rae appeared in “Barbie” and “American Fiction” scored nods.

Barbra Streisand is set to receive the SAG Life Achievement Award “given annually to an actor who fosters the finest ideals of the acting profession” and “for career achievements and humanitarian accomplishments,” according to SAG AFTRA, the organization behind the event.
The SAG Awards will stream live globally on Netflix – a first for the show and the streamer – on Saturday, Feb. 24.
