Ryan Clark vows he’s ‘not on TV naked’ after shirtless speculation

Ryan Clark is making it clear: He was “not on TV naked” Monday night. When covering the Buccaneers’ wild card playoff win over the Eagles from Tampa, the ESPN analyst ignited social media speculation as to whether or not he was shirtless after pairing his burgundy suit with a brown top. “My bad @Realclark25 that nude shirt threw me off,” one X user posted along with a crying laughing face emoji.

When Van Pelt replied, “When you’re an All Pro safety, though, you can come out nearly butt ass naked,” Clark quipped: “I’m an NFL analyst. I can’t come out here with my chest open like Louis Riddick.” Much like Clark, Riddick is also a former NFL safety and current ESPN analyst. He responded to Clark’s comments Tuesday, unbuttoning his shirt at the “Get Up” table.

“I’m doing the rest of the show like this,” Riddick said. Fashion was part of Tuesday’s discussion, as was the Eagles’ playoff blunder. The defending NFC champions were embarrassed by the Buccaneers on Monday night, 32 9, completing a season ending spiral in which Philadelphia dropped six of its last seven games.

“To get back to Sirianni, is he really the guy you want leading the charge going down the stretch here, in terms of a couple of years from now, or is Bill Belichick in play?” he said. “Is that the kind of guy that needs to be in play here, cause personally, I think it’s something you definitely have to consider.” Belichick and the Patriots parted ways last Thursday after 24 seasons.
