Novo Nordisk resumes U.S. shipments of Wegovy 1.7 mg dose

hapabapa/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Following a short term stock out in mid December 2023, Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) resumed shipments of 1.7 mg dose of its weight loss drug Wegovy in the U.S. in early January 2024. The 1.7 mg dose was listed with limited availability under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's drug shortage list along with lower strength doses (0.25 mg, 0.5 mg and 1 mg).
