Jason Kelce is calling it a career after 13 NFL seasons. The Philadelphia Eagles All Pro center told his teammates in the locker room after Monday’s season ending wild card loss to the Buccaneers that he is retiring, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The 36 year old future Hall of Famer was visibly upset on the sidelines at the end of Philadelphia’s 32 9 loss at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.
Kelce, who’s previously considered retirement, has six All Pro selections and seven Pro Bowls under his belt. He announced last March that he would “return for another year after walking it over with my wife and many other friends and family.” Taking to Twitter (now X) at the time, Kelce wrote in part, “I have put much thought into whether it makes sense to play another season.” Jason Kelce told teammates that he is retiring, per @MikeGarafolo .
