Ira Khan Nupur Shikhare wedding: Aamir Khan dances to `Meri Pyaari Behaniya`

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta couldn't contain their joy as their daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The nuptials were a simple registered marriage, surrounded by loved ones. Images from the Ira Khan Nupur Shikhare nuptials have been floating around social media platforms. In one video, Aamir Khan seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself, dancing with the guests and his ex-wife, Kiran Rao. Reportedly captured at the Haldi ceremony, Aamir was clad in a black t-shirt, clapping and swinging on the Bollywood song 'Meri Yaari Baheniyan,' performed live by a musician. Kiran Rao was also visible swaying to the music accompanied by their son Azad. The beautiful Ira Khan was all dolled up in a deep cut choli paired with pink and green dhoti trousers, glorifying her look with a beautiful silver dupatta covering her head. Nupur donned a blue bandhgala suit. He made a unique entry to the venue by jogging nearly 8 kms, decked out in a black vest and white shorts. He danced to the dhol's rhythm at the venue before proceeding to meet his bride and complete the marital formalities. Nupur later switched into blue sherwani for family photos and posed for the paparazzi. According to reports, Nupur and Ira's romance blossomed during the COVID-19 lockdown, where Nupur was training Aamir, and Ira was living with her dad. Their engagement party was organized in the last November. Leading up to the wedding on Tuesday night, the groom-to-be, Nupur Shikhare, shared photographs with Ira and posted on Instagram saying, "One more day of being your fiancee @khan.ira. I love you so much." To which Ira responded with heart and hug emoticons. The couple appears to be sharing a meal in the final two images. Moreover, an elaborate wedding celebration is in the pipeline in Udaipur for January 8, with the newlyweds and their families set to relocate there soon.
