Heartbreaking Abandonment: Young Man and 26 Dogs Rescued from Neglect in Kochi

A distressing discovery in a rented house in Kakkanad, Kochi, has unfolded a tale of abandonment, neglect, and ultimately, a compassionate rescue. Authorities recently intervened to save a young man, Rahul (23), and his 26 severely neglected dogs, found in dire conditions after his father, Soman, mysteriously went missing.

The alarm was raised by concerned neighbours, who had noticed Soman's absence for over a week and were increasingly bothered by a persistent foul smell emanating from the locked house.

Their suspicions, unfortunately, proved accurate, leading to a police investigation that revealed the shocking scene inside.
