Bengaluru Braces: Officials Scramble to Monsoon-Proof the City

Ah, the monsoon. For Bengaluru, it's often a bittersweet affair. While the rains bring a much-needed respite from the summer heat, they also, sadly, usher in a season of waterlogging, traffic snarls, and sometimes, outright urban chaos. This year, however, it seems the city's top brass isn't taking any chances, issuing a clear and urgent directive: get ready, and get ready fast.
