The channel's much-loved sports comedy "Ted Lasso", which has been a regular on award podiums, led the pack with honours in two categories, according to Deadline. Sam Richardson earned the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series award for his luminary performance as Edwin Akufo. Ed Sheeran, Foy Vance, and Max Martin were presented with the accolade for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, with their "Ted Lasso" number "So Long, Farewell/A Beautiful Game". The "Day Two" episode of the drama series "Five Days at Memorial" was recognised for Exceptional Special Visual Effects in a Single Episode. Natalie Kingston, the director of photography for "Black Bird," received the Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie award. The remainder of the Creative Arts Emmys will be given out on the upcoming Sunday evening. A condensed version of the evening will be broadcast on FXX on January 13.
