All Woman Team Perform Ram Leela In Ayodhya Ahead Of Temple Inauguration

In Ayodhya, a hive of activity is underway as the town preps for the inaugural ceremony of the Ram Temple, slated for January 22. The day is set to be marked by an array of spiritual, cultural, and traditional folk art functions. Renowned Ram Leelas from across India and the world will also be performed, accentuating the global influence of Lord Ram, as reported by an official directive from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to the notice, different styles of Ram Leelas will be showcased at diverse cultural venues in Ayodhya from January 15 (Makar Sankranti) in the buildup to the inauguration event.

The various events based on Lord Ram's life will be presented by Ram Leela groups from several states including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Karnataka, Sikkim, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Chandigarh. Also, a women's troupe from Uttarakhand will perform a Ram Leela over the next 11 days. This performance, featuring at least 50 women portraying Lord Ram and Ravana, signifies a noteworthy moment of female representation in Ram Leela performances.

ANi reported that the Tulsi Manch at Tulsi Bhawan Memorial will host performances showcasing various regional and global Ram Leelas. The executive statement expressed that the spiritual and cultural events paying homage to Lord Ram are supporting Uttar Pradesh's progression as a spiritual hub under Yogi Adityanath's guidance.

According to talks from Mr. Rai, Lord Ram's consecration in the newly erected temple in Ayodhya will take place at 12.20 pm on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be attending the ceremony.
