Such is the heartbreaking tale of Pallepranith Reddy, a 23-year-old from the Yadadri-Bhongir district of Telangana, whose journey to pursue a Master’s degree at Chicago University tragically ended.

Pranith, as his loved ones called him, had been struggling for a while. For over a month, he'd battled a relentless cough, followed by persistent chest pain — symptoms that, in hindsight, scream for immediate attention. The young man's condition worsened, leading to his admission to a local hospital in Chicago on January 30th. And then, on February 7th, the worst possible news arrived: Pranith had succumbed to his illness. Gone, just like that.
