Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ignited a significant discourse, asserting that 'political Islam' historically targeted the very roots of 'Sanatan Dharma', a truth he believes is rarely acknowledged or discussed openly. He cited numerous examples, including the destruction and subsequent reclamation efforts at sacred sites like Kashi Vishwanath, Mathura, and the long-fought battle for Ayodhya. These sites, he emphasized, are not mere structures but living testaments to India's spiritual soul, repeatedly targeted and rebuilt through centuries of resilience.
