Xbox exclusive Hi Fi Rush could be coming to Nintendo Switch

Microsoft is apparently looking to bring a first party Xbox exclusive that was "in the game of the year conversation the year it released" to other platforms in 2024. The rumor comes from YouTuber NatetheHate, who has a good track record when it comes to insider information. "The title I am referring to was met with high critical acclaim, fans loved it, it was in the game of the year conversation the year it released," NatetheHate said.

"When the announcement comes, I think it's going to be met with a lot of excitement because this is a quality game." Later in the podcast, he added: "Yes, Microsoft will be dabbling in bringing a first party game to a competitor platform in 2024. At least one game, I know of one, don't know if there will be additional." Fans on social media believe the game could be Tango Gameworks' Hi Fi Rush and that it could be coming to Nintendo Switch.

ResetEra user lolilolailo, who has also been correct with some Xbox related leaks in the past, also agrees the title could be Hi Fi Rush. Adding further fuel to the flame, Windows Central 's Jez Corden said, "It has been suggested to me from very trusted, proven sources that Microsoft has been exploring bringing some of its back catalog to other platforms, although some of the details remain vague and unconfirmed." If the rumors are true, this wouldn't be the first time we've seen an Xbox exclusive game/IP land on Nintendo Switch.

Microsoft previously brought Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition to Nintendo's console back in 2019. Perhaps, like Ori, we'll see a Nintendo Switch stack of Hi Fi Rush achievements if the rumors do come to pass. What are your thoughts on this rumor? Let us know down in the comments..
