Xbox Developer Direct January 2024 date leaked with possible shadowdrop release

However, this year could be better for Microsoft gamers, and it is set to begin with a showcase of what’s to come. The has seemingly leaked, and the same leak suggests there could be a possible shadowdrop release similar to HiFi Rush at the beginning of 2023. We were all treated to a bevy of fantastic video game releases throughout 2023, and this year is just as jam packed.

If the leaks are true, we could be getting another video game release from the Psychonauts 2 developer. The possibly leaked date for a new Xbox Developer Direct is January 25th, 2024. This leak comes courtesy of prominent leaker . Their post includes a promotional graphic for the event with the date plus YouTube and Twitch symbols to watch it live.

This is not official as of writing. Microsoft has not confirmed a Developer Direct for January 2024, but it happened on January 25th back in 2023. Last year’s promotional art teased the inclusion of developers Ninja Theory, Mojang, Turn 10, and Arkane Austin. The 2024 promotional art shared by eXtas1tv includes developers Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Stoic, and Oxide.

While an official announcement has not yet happened, the leaker claims it could happen a week before. Aside from the included developers, the leaker also says there could be a shadowdrop release of a new game from Psychonauts 2 developer, Double Fine. The game in question could be either KILN or something else.

It’s not confirmed to be a shadowdrop release exactly like HiFi Rush, but it is a possibility or it could get a release date that is very close.
